Wish List

We are not 100% sure the baby is a girl so go easy on pink please! Blue's, greens and yellow's are really pretty no matter what gender!

I would like a Laundry Basket with a lid. I like the wicker ones, like in this picture.

A small/cheap portable CD player, so I can play soothing music for the baby.

I would like to a touch lamp for the Baby's room that has a three way bulb in it. That way it can be turned on low in the wee hours just with a touch.

Other stuff; Baby Monitors, Crib Mattress, Crib Sheets, Cradle Mattress or Changing Pad, Cradle Size Sheets (not Bassinet), Night lights, Mobile for over the crib, Books, Toy's, Nursing Pillow, Bibs, Burp Cloths, Swing, Small Trash Can with Lid for disposible diapers, Larger Trash with Lid for Cloth Diapers, Large Wooden Laundry Rack for indoor drying, Digital Thermometer, Other Baby First Aid stuff, Mosquito Netting, Walker, Highchair, Bouncer, Potty Chair, Rocking Chair Cushion, Baskets of all different sizes to store baby stuff in.

I am planning on mostly using cloth diapers, but there will be times that I'll use disposibles. See below for link to my online cloth diaper registry.

I like this swing. I found it at Sears. Its a Boppy Rock in Comfort Travel Swing.
The Boppy Rock in Comfort Travel Swing features a plush cradle seat with support, six speeds, five gentle melodies and a gliding toy bar with two plush toys. Compact design folds down for easy portability. Not sure if I need it to be portable, but seems that most swings they sell are portable. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_04910998000P?vName=Baby&cName=Gear&sName=Swings

  1. Congratulations on the baby! You are in for a change in your life. Enjoy it. My wife and I had twins (a boy and a girl) in November 2008 and are still adjusting. I also have a 16yo girl who will be going to college next year -- so this is round 2 for me. It's all new again, but I can tell you from experience to enjoy each day once "she" is here. The first's will be great -- first smiles, first laughs, -- they will make it all worth it.
